On the 10th and 31st of July 2012, we had 『Breast research association Evening seminar 』 at Wacoal corp.(in Kyoto).
The ‘Anatomy lecture of Bones and Muscles’ was given by Prof. Mitsuhiro Kawata of Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine

In this lecture, instead of focusing only on the breast, Prof. Mitsuhiro Kawata discussed bones, the basis of the structure of the body, from a general and anatomical perspective.
A variety of presentation materials enabled us to learn about -the structure and function of bones – bone origin and growth, and – the complete skeleton.
In the Q&A session many questions were asked for example – What is healthy bone? – What are the differences between male and female bones particularly around the breast area?

-Muscles-
Prof. Mitsuhiro Kawata (Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine)
Continuing from the last lecture, the Professor used excellent teaching materials and we learned about; – Muscles of the human body – the types and names of skeletal muscle – the function of skeletal muscle, and – the structure and nature of skeletal muscle.
The lecture was held during the London 2012 Olympic Games and we watched the athletes on the world’s best stage every day. Because of the lecture we were able to understand the movement of the athlete’s bones and muscles as well as enjoying the games.
